Serial Number - Message: The entered Serial Number does not seem to be correct.

If you get the error - The entered Serial Number does not seem to be correct. Please check it  - the most likely reason is that you installed the wrong program edition or you installed the life time license but you ordered the Cloud Edition.

Check the invoice which edition you bought, e.g. Starter, Basic or Professional Edition and also Cloud Edition or life time license.
  • Compare that with the edition you installed. The edition name can be found in the title bar (see screenshot, red box)
  • If you installed the wrong edition, uninstall Licence Protector and install again. During the installation select the edition you bought
  • If you installed the correct edition, copy the serial number from the invoice. Also compare the version number. A Serial Number for version 3 will not be accepted for version 4.
  • Download a different version.
